The Washington International Relations Conference (WIRC) is a one-day Model UN training event featuring workshops (“WIRCshops”), a keynote speaker, and realistic committee simulations. Offered both virtually and in person, WIRC helps high school students and advisors nationwide build skills, gain confidence, and grow as delegates, whether it’s your first conference or your twentieth.

Led by American University’s award-winning Model UN team and experienced staff, WIRC provides an open, supportive environment focused on learning before competition. Our mission is to make Model UN training accessible and affordable for all students, empowering them to become stronger delegates, leaders, and individuals.
