🚨 HISTORIC NCAA RULE CHANGE: The ”5 for 5” Era is Here! 🚨

Big news for future college athletes! The NCAA is completely overhauling its eligibility rules for Division I sports, and it’s a total game-changer.

Here is everything you need to know about the shift from the traditional ”5-year clock” to the brand-new 5 full seasons of competition model:

📊 The Key Changes Breakdown:
5 Years vs. 4 Years: You now get a maximum of 5 full seasons of competition, expanding on the current 4-season limit.

The 19th Birthday Rule: Your 5-year eligibility window starts the academic year immediately following your 19th birthday OR your initial college enrollment.

Goodbye, Redshirting: Traditional redshirts and medical/hardship waivers are completely eliminated in favor of these simpler, blanket rules.

Timeline: This applies only to NCAA D-I sports and will officially take effect in Fall 2027.
