The Washington Print Club, which celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024, is a membership organization open to everyone interested in the arts! Join us today!

Established in 1964, the WPC is a place where enthusiasts can share and stimulate their interest in prints and works of art on paper. Members come from a diverse set of backgrounds and include artists, collectors, curators, gallery owners, art educators, paper conservators, and students. September is here, schools are in session, swimming pools are closed, the weather is finally gorgeous in Washington, and we are about to celebrate the gallery's 40th anniversary with a special exhibition: Now and Then, 4 September to 28 September. Several of our founding members are taking part.
The opening reception is on Saturday 6th from 3pm to 6pm.

Experienced art lawyer Richard Louis will explain what every artist should know about the law and how to set up a business in Washington D.C. Richard will go over the basics of copyright law, the laws that affect the sale of artwork, and the things you should consider when setting up a business in Washington D.C. to sell your artwork.

Thank you to the Kreeger Museum for hosting a panel discussion yesterday in conjunction with the Washington Print Club exhibition "The DMV Collects the DMV." Moderated by curator Laura Roulet, the panelists Wesley Clark, Helen Frederick, Edgar Endress, and Mary Early provided an insightful look into their respective practices. Kudos all 'round.

The exhibition is on view until February 1.

Now live, the online catalog of "The DMV Collects the DMV."

This exhibition, a collaboration between the Washington Print Club and the Kreeger Museum is up until February 1, 2025. It is not only a showcase of the enormous artistic talent within the DMV, but of the dedication of local collectors who support and nurture artists and the arts infrastructure.

The Washington Print Club is thrilled to announce its upcoming 60th anniversary exhibition, “The DMV Collects the DMV.” Curated by Laura Roulet, the exhibition is a collaboration with the Kreeger Museum, an institution with a strong commitment to showcasing work by artists in the greater DC area. Drawn from the collections of WPC members, the show features works on paper by a diverse array of artists. The exhibition will run October 26-February 1.
