One of the most beautiful things about IUM?

Watching complete strangers become lifelong friends.

By the end of the week, they’re cheering for each other, celebrating together, and making memories they’ll talk about for years.

The crowns are unforgettable.

But the friendships might be even more special. 🩵

Tag a sister queen who made your IUM experience better. ✨

Hot take… it’s never just about the queens.

In a 40+/- days, our ballroom fills up, and if you’ve been there, you already know. The music hits, queens walk the stage, and suddenly the room erupts. Signs in the air, people on their feet, voices you can hear over everything else.

That’s you.

The moms who can’t watch but can’t look away. The dads trying to play it cool and then losing it the second their baby’s name is called. The best friends, the sisters, the entire row that showed up ready to cheer during every comp like it’s the final moment of the week.

You don’t just watch the week, you help it come alive.

So when those lights come up, let them hear you.
Cheer for your girl. Cheer for every girl. Let them feel exactly how loved they are the second they step on that stage.

There is nothing like an IUM crowd… and it’s because of you.

This week, we’re featuring the Class of 2022–2023 💙

By this point, the traditions were set — and this class leaned all the way in.

From Disney to Washington, D.C., Mexico, Galveston, Texas, and Tennessee… they experienced the full IUM year, built on the moments and memories that make this sisterhood what it is.

This class also marked a major shift, the first time our international competition moved out of New Jersey, with this court crowned in Myrtle Beach.

A new location, a new chapter… this class felt like a perfect blend of everything — strong, supportive, and fully present in every part of the journey.

One of the most bittersweet parts of a queen’s reign is preparing her farewell.

The speech gets written. The music gets chosen. And then comes the hard part, going back through a year’s worth of memories.

Right now, there are nearly 10,000 photos in the shared album between our queens and the IUM family from this year alone. With an entire week of Internationals still ahead of us, this class has already set a new IUM record.

As we start collecting photos for farewell videos, we’re reminded of something every single year.

The photos that mean the most usually aren’t the ones that make it to Instagram.

They’re the blurry selfies.

The silly behind-the-scenes photos.

The screenshots from FaceTimes.

The late-night conversations.

The random picture someone snapped right before everyone burst out laughing.

The moments nobody planned for.

The moments nobody thought were “the” important moment at the time.

Just girls becoming sisters.

People see the travel.

The gifts.

The matching outfits.

The prize package.

And trust us, we love every bit of it. We love creating experiences and spoiling our queens.

But when our girls look back on their year, they rarely just talk about what they received.

They talk about who was standing beside them when they received it.

Because long after the crowns are passed down and the suitcases are unpacked, this is what remains.

The family. 🤍

Still not over Dollywood day honestly 😂🎢✨

The kind of day where your cheeks hurt from laughing, your voice is gone from screaming on rides, and nobody wanted it to end.

Core memory unlocked 🤍

This week, we’re featuring the Class of 2021–2022 💙

This class kept the momentum going, and we added something new to the experience.

From Disney to Washington, D.C., Jamaica, Tennessee… and for the first time, a fifth trip — Hollywood, Florida. Each class now chooses a destination that’s special to their year, and this group set that tradition in motion.

And if you were there… you remember one of the sweetest moments of the year.

This was the year we crowned our honorary IUM Mister — the little brother of our International Jr. Pr***en, Mia Bella — who traveled right alongside the queens all year long and became part of the heart of this class.

👑 Class of 2021–2022
International Princess – Lilliana
International Jr. Pr***en – Mia Bella
International Pr***en – Caroline
International Jr. Teen – Allie
International Teen – Adrianna
International Miss – Alexandria
International Ms. – Brandi Jo
National Little Miss – Lillian
National Junior Miss – Anna
National Miss – Kyanna

A class that added new traditions… and made the year their own 💫

Today, IUM honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedom will never be forgotten. We remember and honor the heroes who gave everything for others.

Forever remembered. Forever honored.

Nothing better than a Dollywood day with your sisters by sash 🤍🎢

Matching outfits, nonstop laughs, and memories we already know we’ll be talking about for years.

A Dollywood day with your IUM sisters = nonstop laughs, silly group photos, and at least one person saying “let’s do it again” immediately after a roller coaster 😂🤍

What started as a fun “oh, let’s try that mountain coaster” turned into a yearly tradition! This year they even added a cool laser light show while you ride the coaster! We had to have the ladies feed the goats and check out the general store too. Huge thank you to the staff for recognizing these iconic outfits and hooking us up!!
