Do you have a bright or twice-exceptional kid who keeps you on your toes? Come join us at the DC Regional Gathering (August 14-16th), where we’re offering a Family Forum track just for you.

We’ll have sessions on:
-Understanding twice-exceptional (2e) learners
-Becoming your child’s best advocate at school and beyond
-Navigating social challenges from both the parent and child perspective

There will be opportunities for parents to connect, kids to feel seen, and families to leave with practical tools and language you can use right away.

Our full program is now up on the website, and it's packed with fascinating talks and activities for all kinds of interests. Highlights include shark-focused talks on scuba, ecology, migration patterns, and conservation; a discussion of NASA's Artemis II mission; sessions on color analysis and personal style; disaster preparedness; precision nutrition; nebulae and the stellar life cycle; artificial intelligence and meaningful work; the American Revolution; emergency leadership; and more.

We also have a dedicated kids' track on Saturday with programming for gifted youth, plus separate programming for parents.

Finally, we're inviting volunteers to help us make this event a success. And because we value your help, volunteers receive post-event reimbursement for every 4 hours they volunteer, so your time truly comes back to you.
