2015 TIVA PEER AWARDS KEYNOTE SPEAKER OF THE DAY - Mike Hydeck- Weekend Morning News Anchor For WUSA-TV. Channel 9
During his nearly 25 years in journalism, Mike has interviewed presidents, politicians, world famous athletes and entertainers. He's covered everything from natural disasters to inaugurations to super bowls. In addition to his time on the anchor desk Mike is passionate about reporting on education in his weekly series called "Cool Schools." He finds innovative teachers who can capture the imagination of their students and he showcases their stories on the Morning Show. Mike was honored with a local Emmy nomination for his prime time special "Cool Schools: The Future is Now."

2015 TIVA PEER AWARDS KEYNOTE SPEAKER OF THE DAY - Rick Allen, CEO SNAG Films
Rick Allen has run successful companies in nearly every form of media, and helped to develop or extend some of the country's most prestigious brands. Rick is the CEO of SnagFilms which he helped to found with Ted Leonsis. The two produced Kicking It, which screened at Sundance, Tribeca and other film festivals and was aired by ESPN; for the film and their work on homelessness, Leonsis, Allen and colleagues received the 2009 Stewart B. McKinney Award from the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty.

Proud to have Lamont Easter mcing the Peer Awards On November 14th!!!
Lamont Easter is a television, film and commercial actor with appearances on shows such as House of Cards, HBO Veep, CBS Madame Secretary and in various commercials such as GIECO, Coca cola, and Carmax to name a few. Furthermore, Lamont just recently completed a lead role in an independent western film called "The Lonesome Trail", and is currently in a web series called "Insomnia ” and is the Asst. Producer on a new film called Yin-Yang. Lamont has performed in several other independent films, web series and numerous corporate training videos and print advertisements. 2015 TIVA PEER AWARDS HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
Introduction of The Steve Wallace Community Service Award.
Steve was an outstanding individual and long-time friend of TIVA- offering an unusually large percentage of in-kind services for the recent TIVA Peer Awards- He was giving of his time, energy, equipment and services,. Steve Wallace, a friend to TIVA passed away on April 8 after a long fight with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, a rare fatal brain disorder.
Steve was the founder and owner of Presentation Media in Jessup, MD. This year Presentation Media is front and center at the TIVA Peer Awards providing all of our staging, audio and projection equipment.

2015 TIVA PEER AWARDS KEYNOTE SPEAKER OF THE DAY - Kimberly Skyrme, Kimberly Skyrme Casting
Kimberly is the founder of Kimberly Skyrme Casting, formerly Capital Casting. She continues her work as a Casting Director as well as producing Feature Films and Television Programming under her New Company Wonder Wheel Entertainment. Kimberly has been a filmmaker for 20 years, she began her film career as a Casting Director in Washington DC.Working as a Location Casting Director for Hollywood Films and the long running Docudrama/Crime Series Unsolved Mysteries she gained an interest in Producing. Having studied Acting and Directing in college she understands the language of Actors and collaborates with Directors seamlessly.
