FOUNDATIONS OF PRANAYAMA - YOGIC BREATHING
Pranayama, or yogic breathing, is a powerful practice of conscious breath regulation that supports both body and mind. In this class, you’ll explore resonance breathing—a simple, science-backed method shown to promote optimal health, inner calm, and long-term well-being. Through guided techniques, we’ll introduce mudras (gestures), bandhas (energy locks), and kumbhakas (breath retentions), as outlined in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. These time-honored practices help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting emotional balance, mental clarity, and a calmer state of mind during stressful times. Together, we will cultivate resilience, enhance recovery, and expand both physical and mental vitality through the transformative power of breath.

“Breathwork for Calm and Resilience”
This workshop introduces pranayama—yogic breathing practices that can nurture balance, resilience, and peace of mind. You’ll explore resonance breathing, a simple method shown to support the nervous system and improve overall well-being. Alongside this, you’ll be guided through foundational techniques from the seminal yoga text, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, including mudras (gestures), bandhas (energy locks), and gentle breath retentions.
These practices can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, associated with rest, relaxation and renewal. Many use the methods to help reduce stress, and build steadiness in body and mind—valuable tools for facing life’s challenges with calm and clarity.

Through yoga practice, I understand one of the most important valuable action is "listening".
💟Listen to our inner voices.
💟Examine our own thoughts and feelings.
💟Receive what we need at the moment.
These attitudes are required in practice of yoga towards to personal growth. Listening is not only passive. It’s also active, it’s cultivating sensitive self awareness and helping to gain understanding of ourselves deeper.
Remember the wisdoms in us. Listen to the truth and awareness already in us.
Are you listening to your true voices?
