Meet our Secretary Alexandra!

Alexandra is a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering originally from North Potomac, MD. She joined A.O.E. because she “wanted to join a community of other women in STEM! Everyone is so welcoming and supportive of what I do, my interests, and who I am!” Her favorite memory with A.O.E. Has been dolphin dates with candidates and fellow members. A fun fact about Alexandra is that she loves to do artsy/crafty things like crocheting, knitting, journaling, and painting!

Meet our President Chloe!

Chloe is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering originally from Long Island but now living in Illinois. She joined A.O.E. “because I wanted to find a sense of community in a big city like D.C. I thought it would be a great way to meet people and make friends.” Her favorite memory from A.O.E. was last fall’s semi formal, she says, “I had such a great time with everyone and the food was delicious!” A fun fact about Chloe is that she studied abroad in Dublin last spring and went to 9 different countries!

Meet our VP Emma!

Emma is a sophomore studying Neuroscience from Hartsville, SC. She joined A.O.E. “to have a group of people in STEM that I could rely on!” Her favorite memory from A.O.E. was planning this year’s day away. A fun fact about Emma is that she is an identical twin!

Meet Audrey!

Audrey is a freshman studying Physics with a minor in Computer Science from Seattle, WA. She says, “I joined A.O.E. because I wanted to build community with other women in STEM. I loved the idea of a sorority but was worries I wouldn’t have enough time to focus on academics. A.O.E is the best of both worlds!” Her favorite memories with A.O.E. Have been Dolphin Dates and getting to know all the members. A fun fact about Audrey is that she is in 4 clubs outside of A.O.E!

Meet Amy!

Amy is a senior studying Computer Science with minors in Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Brain Sciences from Orlando, FL. She joined A.O.E. because “all the people are so nice and truly made me feel welcomed when I struggled to find my place at GW.” Her favorite memories with A.O.E. have been our Fall semi formals. A fun fact about Amy is that she has two cute cats named Chester and Cagney!

Meet our DEI and unity chair, Zenaida!

Zenaida is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Persian from Baltimore, MD. She joined A.O.E. because she “loved the idea of belonging to a community here at GW. Being in the city, there are so many people to meet; forging strong relationships is important to me, and A.O.E. has an environment which makes that possible. The sense of community and support is irreplaceable!” One of her favorite memories with A.O.E. was Dayaway last fall!

A fun fact about Zenaida is that her family has 5 (soon to be 6) Shih Tzus, 3 (soon to be 4) of whom are only a year old!
