When you grow up and realize how extraordinary your Mother, Father, and Grandparents parents are because excellence is ordinary in your home. Being taught about Paul Roberson, W.E.B Dubois Misseducation of a negro, While listening to Louie, Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Lena Horne.. To then you have conversations with people 30 years later that have no clue about African American history and culture. And how we pretty much Invented everything. It still shocks me. When did we stop educating our children at home?
