The lettuce growing saga continues! It’s time to transfer for the inside growing lettuce to the outside, to begin the journey of operation, ‘don’t buy no lettuce from the store’ this year! is what I use, to grow on the inside! (FYI)… also, I take a lot of pride in using fresh leafy things when I host and I’m sort of overdue for hosting something!

Okay, okay… I know the last couple months of content have mostly been:
• the squatting birds
• Marc’s retirement activities
• random life commentary
• me cracking jokes every other post 😭

BUT I do actually have a real job over at … 😂

And truthfully, I’ve been really excited about the work we’ve been doing lately, especially around etiquette education for kids and teens. We’ve been building some really thoughtful content and programs focused on confidence, social awareness, communication, leadership and everyday life skills for young people.

So if you’ve only been here for the bird updates and retirement chronicles (that’s cool), just know there’s a whole other side too.

Head to my stories to see more of the work and feel free to reach out if you’re curious about what we do at Scarlet.

Now… am I going to stop sharing the jokes? Absolutely not. Stuff is funny.

But seriously, I really do love the work we do and it’s a privilege to do it!

I’m telling you.

Pilates is the move…

Is it hard? Yes.
Is it worth it? YES.

And yeah, that’s me on the Cadillac Reformer.

I just have my “Set It Off” braids activated as I recover from +1 golf retirement activities and the rain monsoon, with you know who earlier this week… (my last post explains that)… Cheers!

Oh how funny life is…

I talk about a lot, especially when I’m talking about about leadership for . Their music and lyrics have genuinely inspired many of the conversations I facilitate around transformation and growth.

So imagine my surprise when they ended up on my flight!

I actually hesitated to say anything because I didn’t want to contribute to them getting bombarded if others recognized them too. But somehow, as we were both headed out the door, I was able to quickly say hello and snag a photo.

A small moment, but one of those reminders that inspiration has a funny way of circling back around.

The universe really does have a sense of humor sometimes.

The Cotillion season has come to a close for ! We’ve delivered etiquette training to over 100 debutantes and escorts this year and flew across the country to watch and even emcee their debut. What a treat…
