I work with students and parents who feel pressure around college applications and find the process too complicated or high-stakes to handle alone.

I help students who feel stuck or overthink write their application essays and make sense of their interests and direction along the way.

My role is simple. I help you see what is already there and move forward from it.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

DAY 13: HOW YOU HANDLE FEEDBACK

Think about the last time someone gave you feedback on anything.

It could be on your writing, your art, your behavior, or a group project.

Asking and receiving feedback is not easy, but it’s important.

Take a few minutes to journal:

• What was the feedback?
(What did they actually say—try not to editorialize.)
• What was your first reaction?
(Defensive? Grateful? Embarrassed? Curious?)
• What part of it felt true?
(Be honest with yourself—even if it stung.)
• What feedback are you ready to receive now?
• Do you think your essay will be better if you took other people’s feedback into account?
• Does it matter who you ask? Well, who would you ask?

Day 12: What if this is enough?

You’ve drafted and revised, and your essay still feels… meh.

What if this essay is not impressive?

What if it will never be outstanding?

What if you are not …?

What are you worried your essay won’t be?
Or you won’t be?
Write one paragraph starting with:
“I am OK with being….
Even if I’m not trying to be impressive, I know I can still…”
