Le jeudi 4 février, à 10h30, nous accueillerons un LIDGA Senior Fellow, le Docteur James Quirk, de American University de Washington, D.C. Il animera un cours présentant les quatre modèles de relations internationales - réalisme, libéralisme, marxisme et le constructivisme. Chacun de ces éléments a une signification particulière dans l'étude des relations internationales et dans la compréhension des motivations et des actions des États et des autres acteurs.
Le professeur Quirk a travaillé à Washington, en Russie, en Irak, en Israël / Palestine, au Mexique et dans les Balkans et a publié dans des revues américaines et internationales. Le professeur Quirk parlera en anglais; le professeur Drack Bonhomme traduira en français. La réunion devrait durer environ 45 minutes, y compris le temps de questions et réponses.

NOTE:

On Thursday, 4 February, at 10:30a.m., we will host LIDGA Senior Fellow, Doctor James Quirk, from American University in Washington, D.C. He will lead a conversation introducing the four models of International Relations - realism, liberalism, marxism, and constructivism. Each of these has a specific meaning in the study of International Relations, and in understanding the motivations and actions of States and other Actors.
Professor Quirk has worked in Washington, Russia, Iraq, Israel/Palestine, Mexico, and the Balkans and published in American and international journals. Professor Quirk will speak in English; professor Drack Bonhomme will translate into French. The meeting should last approximately 45 minutes, including time for a Q&A.
