The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of libertarians and conservatives interested in the current state of the legal order.

It is founded on the principles that: the state exists to preserve freedom; the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution; and it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be.

The UARK School of Law Federalist Society is proud to present a lecture with US Chamber of Commerce Senior Economist Churtis Dubay.

UARK Law students are invited to join us at 5:00 PM on September 15, 2021 in the EJ Ball Courtoom to hear Mr. Dubay present on the proposed policy of a $15 minimum wage. What is a "living wage" and should that be the standard that determines the minimum wage? Students will have an opportunity to participate in a Q and A session as well. Finally, Chick-fil-a boxed meals will be provided at the conclusion of the event.

Space is limited and students must RSVP with the link below using their .edu email address to reserve their spot.

Our first lecture of the semester was a huge success! We observed a live polygraph demonstration and learned how polygraph is winning trials.
