World Portuguese Language Day

Today we celebrate the richness and global reach of the Portuguese language — a language shaped by history, carried across oceans, and spoken by millions worldwide.

From its origins to the diverse forms spoken today across continents and diaspora communities, Portuguese is a living language that continues to evolve and connect people. It is culture, expression, and a shared voice that brings communities together across the globe.

Portuguese Classes at POSSO Starting Oct, 7th!

Classes will be held on Mondays and follow the Santa Clara Unified School schedule.

14+ years of age: 6pm-8pm
8-13 years of age: 6pm-7pm
4-7 years of age: 6pm-7pm

$30 registration fee per student

Monthly fees:
$55 per student, 1st member of family
$35 per student, 2nd member of family
$25 per student, 3rd+ member of family

PALCUS is continuing the online Portuguese language conversation meetups for members to practice their Portuguese! A benefit of being a member of PALCUS, an opportunity to chat with fellow Portuguese Americans across the country about anything and everything, the point is to maintain and improve our language skills!
