The future of construction is changing—and integrated manufacturing will play an increasingly important role.

ELECTRI Executive Director Josh Bone recently joined Greater Boston Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association contractors and IBEW Local 103 - Telecommunications Technicians for a visit to Modular Power Solutions (MPS) and Rosendin to see firsthand how they are approaching culture, consistency, and new ways of building.

As Josh noted, “Integrated manufacturing is a growing trend across the critical infrastructure industry and will play an increasingly important role in the future of construction.”

MPS is doing impressive work in this space, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more and see these innovations in action. Visits like this help ELECTRI stay connected to the ideas, technologies, and practices shaping the future of electrical construction.

❤️ When disaster strikes, our industry comes together.

With recent fires and severe storms affecting communities across the country, we want to remind NECA contractors about the NECA Disaster Relief Fund, sponsored and administered by ELECTRI International.

If your company has been impacted by a recent disaster, the fund may be able to provide financial assistance. And if you’re fortunate enough to not be affected, consider making a contribution to help ensure support is available for fellow NECA contractors when they need it most.

🤝 Help us support our industry when it matters most.

Throwback Thursday | Convention Memories ⭐

With the 2026 NECA Convention just around the corner, let’s take a look back at an ELECTRI booth from the 1990s!

For decades, the ELECTRI booth has been a place where contractors and industry leaders gather to connect, share ideas, and discuss the issues at the forefront of electrical construction.

The booth may have changed, but one thing remains: ELECTRI brings the industry together to talk about what’s next.

📍 Stop by the ELECTRI booth #6718 in Las Vegas as we celebrate NECA’s 125th anniversary and join us for the conversations shaping what’s next for electrical construction.

The conversation around data centers is growing. So are the questions.

As communities consider new data center projects, questions about energy use, water consumption, grid reliability, noise, public health, and economic impact are becoming more common.

To help answer those questions, ELECTRI Executive Director Josh Bone gathered the latest evidence from federal agencies, national laboratories, and global health authorities into one easy-to-reference resource. Data Centers: What the Evidence Shows is a fact-based policy brief designed to help inform conversations with research—not speculation.

Whether you're talking with customers, policymakers, or your local community, this resource provides credible, research-backed information to help move the conversation forward.
