What started off as an observation and an idea has transformed into a beautiful, national community of incredible, intelligent, passionate children of incarcerated parents who are college students and graduates, mentors, volunteers, donors, funders, partners and cheerleaders from Washington, DC all the way to California and back again. We've come this far by faith...! We have truly beat the odds and have overcome many challenges and growing pains with resilience, courage, belief, persistence, determination, resilience, compassion and love.
Many many thanks to all of you who have ever supported or continue to support me and ScholarCHIPS! We couldn't have made 15 years of impact without you! Know that you are seen, loved, and appreciated and your seeds are harvesting marvelous results and impact. And for those of you who have been watching from afar for years...what are you waiting for? Get involved in the movement...there isn't a better or more urgent time than now! May we continue to transform lives for yet another 15 years.
