We're so close to having the Electrify Africa Act re-introduced to congress! Part of our challenge this semester is to write hand-written letters to the most influential members in order to request their support for this important legislation - senators Bob Corker and John Menendez. We have until April 19th to send in our letters.

Hanging out with our buddy Senator Leahy after lobby day during the ONE Summit 2015! We loved meeting him and earning his support for the Electrify Africa bill and increased funding for Gavi and PEPFAR.

ONE is an international campaigning and advocacy organization of more than 6 million people. Our amazing sisters, Hannah and Zoe, advocated for the ONE Campaign in Vermont on Capitol Hill in DC over spring break and were able to meet Vermont Senator Leahy and work with Bill Valliere. Bill is the Congressional District Leader for the ONE Campaign in Vermont and the Rubenstein School representative to the UVM Staff Council.
