Through hands-on projects like Space Flight (with the National Air and Space Museum) and Clear Water for the City (with the Anacostia Watershed Society), learning becomes relevant, exciting, and deeply connected to the world around them.

As an EL Education school, we give students time to dig deep into meaningful, standards-based work, collaborate with peers, and present their learning to real audiences.
