Tax filing is a legal requirement. Students and any dependents who held F-1 / F-2 or J-1 / J-2 status in 2023, even for one day, must file at least one tax form, even if they did not receive any U.S. source income.

Earlier this month, you received an email from OGS detailing instructions for filing your taxes, with Sprintax webinar dates to complement the written materials. Please review the email and the OGS Tax website (linked below!) to ensure you properly meet the filing requirement.
