What’s next for h**p in the built environment?

On October 8, NHA member IND H**P is bringing together leaders from agriculture, architecture, construction, engineering, materials, land, water, and infrastructure for H**p in the Built Environment: A Symposium of Use and Applications in Belgrade, Montana.

This free, one-day event includes expert panels, technical sessions, outdoor demonstrations, AIA Continuing Education credits, lunch by Eduardo Garcia, and an evening reception with CantaBrasil Jazz Band.

The Government’s latest ma*****na rescheduling brief makes an important distinction:

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲.

The filing identifies Δ9-THC as the major intoxicating cannabinoid responsible for ma*****na’s abuse potential, while describing C*D as having 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹.

It also recognizes that dose, product form, testing and quality controls matter.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: this does 𝗻𝗼𝘁 move h**p, C*D, h**p grain or h**p fiber into Schedule III — and it does not represent DEA or DOJ endorsement of NHA’s policy position.

What it does provide is useful federal evidence that different compounds, products, doses and risks warrant different regulatory treatment.
