Rooted in Purpose. Rising in Promise.
What an incredible afternoon of inspiration, celebration, and impact at our 2026 Community Forum & Scholarship Program!
Together, we celebrated the power of academic support, service, and community while honoring outstanding scholars and recognizing exceptional community partners.
Impact in Action
We awarded more than $75,000 in scholarships to outstanding students
We celebrated a total of 31 exceptional scholars (locally and abroad) who embody academic excellence and leadership promise
Recognized outstanding community partners whose work strengthens our collective impact
Featured inspiring ‘Scholar Spotlight Talks’ from former scholarship recipients and youth leaders who shared how investment and mentorship create opportunities that shape their journeys
Enjoyed an uplifting musical performance that reminded us of the power of art to connect us
Reflected on our chapter’s legacy of 105 years of service
As we looked around the room, we saw what happens when a community invests in its young people! We saw dreams being supported, futures being strengthened, and a legacy of service continuing through the next generation of leaders.
To our scholars, families, sponsors, donors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters—thank you for helping make this event a tremendous success! Your commitment ensures that our scholars are not only prepared for the future but ready to lead it.

A lot of people didn’t plan to become entrepreneurs.
Some got laid off.
Some got tired of toxic work environments.
Some looked up one day and realized they were overworked, underpaid, and building everybody else’s dream.
And some of us finally said:
“Bet. I’ll build my own.” 😮💨
That’s why this year’s Entrepreneurship Expo theme hits different:
✨ PIVOT. PROFIT. POWER. ✨
Because pivoting is hard.
Profit takes strategy.
And power? That comes from knowledge, community, and putting yourself in the right rooms.
On June 20, 2026, we’re bringing together entrepreneurs at every stage to learn, connect, and grow.
No fluff. No gatekeeping. Just real conversations, real strategy, and real opportunities.
If you’ve been trying to figure entrepreneurship out alone, this is your sign to get in the room.
Register for your free ticket now before the event sells out.

❤️ Our Community. Our Health. ❤️
Join us on June 5 for a National HIV Testing Day event. Knowing your status is a powerful step toward protecting yourself, your loved ones, and our community.
HIV testing is quick, confidential, and important for everyone ages 13–64.
Together, we can raise awareness, break stigma, and help end the HIV epidemic.

Honoring Our Voice was more than an event — it was a celebration of the incredible authors, storytellers, thought leaders, and creatives within our chapter. ❤️🤍
During May Week, we had the privilege of highlighting the voices of several talented members of the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. whose work continues to inspire, educate, uplift, and preserve our stories.
We are also proud to uplift additional chapter authors whose schedules prevented them from joining us in person. Their voices and contributions remain an important part of our chapter’s creative and literary legacy.
From fiction and memoirs to poetry, faith, public health, and children’s literature, our authors remind us of the power of storytelling and the importance of owning and sharing our narratives.
Our stories. Our voices. Our legacy. ✨
