Public School Educators from Around the Country Selected to Receive National Recognition - NEA Foundation The NEA Foundation announces the 48 public school educators who will be honored with the 2025 Travelers Awards for Teaching Excellence.
The NEA Foundation launched the Community Schools Initiative (CSI) in 2020 to support the development of community schools in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, a region known as the Deep South.
Since then, CSI has supported transforming numerous public school sites in the tristate area into community schools, resulting in positive outcomes for students, families, and communities.

Grants for Educators - The NEA Foundation The NEA Foundation supports public schools through grants for educators and a unique year-long global fellowship.
Our 2024 Class of Global Learning Fellows will finish their year-long fellowship program in a few weeks. The fellows immersed themselves in online coursework, webinars, reading, and reflection, as well as in a two-day professional workshop and an international field study in Costa Rica.
