The Student Activities Commission is a funding board and advisory board for the Vice-President of Student Affairs.
The organization allocates over $300,000 each year for approximately 120 student organizations. The organization allocates roughly $330,000 each year for over 130 student organizations. Student groups are divided up amongst commissioners. Each Commissioner is responsible for taking care of the needs of their groups and making sure that any events or concerns they might have coming up are brought to the commission.

Looking for business experience? As a part of the Commission, you would serve as a liaison for around 10 student organizations, as well as be a part of the approval and funding processes for Georgetown's largest advisory board.
Anything from cultural groups to political groups to the group you see grilling on Copley lawn every Friday all receive funding as a result of SAC Commissioner decisions.

The way SAC gets a great amount of our funding is through the student activities fee (SAF). Under these unique circumstances, we need to work together to decide how we will define community in a virtual environment and how much financial support groups will require.
