As a certified relationship & trauma healing coach, I have noticed no one is teaching kids how to be in relationship with another. It should be taught in schools from elementary school and up. Interpersonal relationships are such a huge part of life. It would focus on understanding self, to understand others, using appropriate language that embodied self respect to respect others, teach how to communicate adequately with a friend, boss, teacher, parents and more. Endless possibilities!

Healthy communication is never about perfection but about the attempt to understand your partner and about holding space for your partner. This is for both partners. Manage the imperfections with your partner’s heart in mind. Love when it’s hardest.
