What a time we had pouring into ourselves as we IGNITE for the coming school year!

This candle making workshop a segment of Instructional Gym’s “Not Your Ordinary Professional Development” series was a time of connection where we each were able to consider how to reimagine adversity as a chance of opportunity instead of a point of frustration - thinking!

I am grateful for such a transformative time to center our – patience, honesty, intentionality, faith, love, joy, resilience and passion!

This will be an amazing school year because WE collectively are committed to making it so -

American Education Week is coming soon & I along with are extremely excited to share with you our initiative - Lessons in Laughter Summit.

This e-summit is a platform where educators can openly address important issues while exercising self-care. It will serve as a tool that will provide transferable skills to empower both teachers and the students that they serve.

That’s not all! It will also have comedy sets from renowned comedians who will ensure you have the time of your life as well as reflect on the need for laughter and collective resources in order to have greater impact in the classroom.
