During these perilous and trying times, as a communications scholar, I can't help but notice the communique that comes from major and minor businesses, and their "official" response to this pandemic. Some of them have done well. Others... especially some unnamed big businesses and institutions πŸ‘€πŸ‘€... have been sorely less impressive.

I'm here to help! If you run a company, big or small, and need solid and well-crafted communique, inbox me. Let's work something out!

Dear Presenters, Facilitators, and Clinicians,

When using a PPT presentation, DO NOT read your slides verbatim! (Especially when you have a lot of verbiage) There's a 99% chance that your audience is well educated and will read and understand it for themselves. You should be able to paraphrase the content and elaborate on it, since you're presenting the content. But, again, DO NOT read it to us. It insults our intelligence and wastes our time. Plus it shows that you're not mentally ahead of the material and you're just as surprised about your next slide as we are.
