Happy Friday! As the world awaits some rather large news, we want to share an important update regarding the Board of Directors Joy of Motion Dance Center. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the DMV Coalition of Dance Educators, students, parents, and community, the entire Board of Directors at Joy of Motion as we knew it has stepped down and new board members have been sworn in. We stood TOGETHER. Our collective action WORKED. WE made CHANGE happen. No matter where you are on your dance journey or how you choose to engage with Joy of Motion, know that your voice matters and we thank you greatly. Please do not hesitate to reach out and let’s all continue to 💙

THANK YOU to the dance educators, students, volunteers, supporters, and ALL who participated in the Inner Spaces Dance Festival this past weekend. We loved every minute of it as we restored, released, and resolved through dance. 💜💚💛
