MONDAY CHECK-IN 💜
It’s a new week and I invite you to pause…
to do an “internal weather” check.
How are you feeling?

Sunshine with dark skies coming
Etc.
Imagine in your mind’s eye what it looks like.
FEELINGS are a guidepost to help you take WISE ACTION to meet your needs.
I encourage you to do these check-ins throughout your day/week - it can be really helpful to stay IN TUNE and REALIGN or REDIRECT our energy and focus.

I recently completed an incredible transatlantic cruise from the UK to the U.S. with my husband. On this cruise, we met lots of couples, many of them older than us. Hubby enjoys asking older couples for their marriage advice. One of the best ones we got was,
“Love is a choice, not an emotion.”
I appreciated this frank and no BS description of marriage. It reaffirmed my understanding of partnership, as a young married woman.
Of course, love has many faces and seasons, and it is expressed in innumerable ways. I think about the honeymoon phase at the start of a new relationship when one absolutely adores the other partner and sees the other as perfect. I think about the way my Chinese parents show me love through “acts of service.” I think about going through a daily life routine and having disagreements, because ultimately your partner is a different person than you.
Love is so many things, and it’s the reason why I chose to be a breakup & relationship coach.
Pause and take a minute to ask yourself,

Every one of us has a wonderful tool accessible to us at any time to bring calm, peace, and stability. It’s the BREATH.
On your healing journey, you can use your breathing to feel calm and grounded when you’re in the midst of strong emotions pulling you down.
You can say a mantra to help you focus on your breathing:
Breathing in, I’m aware of my in breath
Breathing out, I’m aware of my out breath
In
Out
See if you can follow three in breaths and three out breaths.
Notice the difference you feel afterwards.
