Understand that validating someone’s emotional experience does not necessarily convey agreement

Using terms such as:

“I can see you’re really upset”
“This must be so painful”
“Do you want my help with this issue”

Are just some examples of how you can valid someone’s experience

A good way to work on invalidation of others or yourself is by practicing validation ❤️

Remember that validation doesn’t have to be about AGREEING but more so about accepting the experience of someone or yourself
