A DDoS or distributed denial of service attack is one of the most known cybersecurity attacks. While the example above isn't too serious, this attack can severely disrupt a company's operations. Studying Black American history is essential for understanding the cultural, political, and economic impact Black Americans have had on the United States.

It is important to recognize the struggles, resilience, and accomplishments of Black Americans and their contributions to the nation. From the transatlantic slave trade to the civil rights movement and beyond, understanding Black American history helps us to understand the present social and political climate. Moreover, it helps us to recognize the importance of diversity and the need for continued efforts to create an equitable society.

Over the course of this month, BGH will be showing influential Black Americans who have and are making a positive impact in technology.
