Staying true to yourself is key to starting any new journey.
In terms of a fitness journey, if you don’t enjoy an activity it’s probably a good idea to start with something you do enjoy.
I’m not telling you to not do the things you don’t like AT ALL. Clearly, it’s important to have a well diverse consistent routine. But starting with a fitness activity you love and branching out down the road is important.
For example: If a client tells me they hate running but enjoys biking, I would suggest a cycling routine mixed with full body resistance training and walking on an incline. Gradually adding burst of interval sprints in the walking incline through out a series of months.

As I scroll through social media and do more and more research for this new career, I am learning that most fitness coaches and online fitness programs promote a lot of unhealthy behaviors and sell weight loss as the main reason to work out.
Society shames bigger bodies and people who don’t have six packs abs. We gotta start treating all bodies better. It’s the all over health of a person that matters. Checking your biases at the door is a good first step.
As an allied health professional, it important that I use medical doctors, therapists, licensed nutritionist, and other trained medical professionals in helping a client reach their true potential.
I will never sell supplements or promote unhealthy and unproven ways to lose those “extra pounds”.
It’s all about being healthy and supporting everybody. Because every body’s different

Big thanks to the very talented for the new brand logo. It feels like me. Excited to share this with everyone. It’s starting to feel like a real business! Super blessed and happy with the way it turn out.
For those wondering what’s up with the name. Here’s why. I wanted the name of my business to speak as my testimony. For me, fitness is more than the aesthetics of the body. It’s also about the mental health and improving functional mobility for a longer, happier, and active life. “Roddy” represents a more joyful and cheerful side of me. I hope I can deliver that same energy for my clients. Using the first three letters of my last name, “W-I-L”, represents willpower, power to overcome, or willing your own self power.
