Imagine walking the streets of Paris. There’s a certain smell at the corner. It’s the familiar smell of a tasty croissant. You can’t resist. You enter the boulangerie and the person behind the counter greets you: “Bonjour! Et pour vous?”

You freeze. Do you point? Is that rude?

You say : « un croissant »

“Et avec ceci?”

Your heart is racing, your teeth are clenched. All this for a croissant.

My name in Tom. I am a native French speaker who grew up in Paris. I studied engineering in France and in Texas. I tutor French to adults and children in my spare time. I’m passionate about helping students practice and improve their French language skills.

There’s simply nothing better than seeing someone succeed in getting sentences right, improving their vocabulary and speaking faster and with fewer mistakes.
