The countdown is on! After Labor Day, ANANSI Academy Microschool officially opens in Southwest Washington, DC, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome our founding students and families.
At ANANSI, we believe learning should be connected, purposeful, and joyful—not confined to eight hours of disconnected classes and occasional field trips.
That's why we've locked in incredible community-based learning partnerships that bring academics to life:
🎮 Jackson Academy – A local, family-owned and operated partner where students will explore computer science, gaming, design, and animation, connecting technology with creativity and future careers.
🌱 Dominant Force Agriculture Program & Travis Farms – Students will apply classroom learning in plant biology, ecology, and environmental science through hands-on urban farming while helping strengthen and expand a community farm right here in Southwest DC.
