MIT Scratch Coding 101 (Grades 1-5):
Mondays - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. (Monday class is FULL)
Tuesdays - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
In this class, students will use coding, creativity, and design skills as they learn Scratch, a program designed by the MIT Media Lab, to code, create, and share projects. Students will use blocks of code to develop their own animation projects.
Roblox Game Design (Grades 3-6):
Tuesdays - 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
In this class, students will have exposure to building, engineering, and programming, as they design and create their own 3D worlds. Students will learn how to add features such as drawbridges, scoreboards, clocks, traps, power-ups, and customized terrain.
YouTube Video Production Camp (Grades 4-7):
Wednesdays - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
In this class, students will create YouTube videos on a topic of their choice with their own script and Special Effects. Some examples include fashion, travel, cooking, video games, and sports. Students will learn the ins and outs of YouTube stardom!
Minecraft Coding - White Belt (Grades 4-7):
Thursdays - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Calling all Minecrafters! In this class, students will learn programming and enhance problem-solving skills while they build within Minecraft. Students will be coding programs that utilize in-game Computers and Turtles to create new and customized ways of interaction with the Minecraft world, environment, and items.
Minecraft Coding - Blue Belt (Grades 4-7):
Thursdays - 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
In this class, students will use all their new coding skills from their Minecraft Coding - White Belt class as they continue to build out their Minecraft world. Our instructors will coach your child through adding new items, environments, non-playable characters, and more!
Minecraft Channel for YouTube (Grades 4-7):
Fridays - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
In this class, students will learn many aspects of digital video production in Minecraft. Some learning opportunities include ideating and creating content, researching, scripting, filming, using screen capture software, adding special effects, making a plan to promote a YouTube channel, and much more!

Meet Corey Ferrier:
Corey is currently a student at MIT majoring in Computer Science. He loves all things computing, from software development and network engineering to video editing and teaching others programming! Corey is an expert at differentiating instruction for students in his classes. When not coding, he loves to play piano and play video games with friends (his favorite game right now is League of Legends!). He also loves to hike and is on his school's taekwondo team! Corey is available for 1:1 instruction, as well as small group private classes.
