COUNTDOWN TO THE FINAL SHUTTLE LAUNCH!
INSPIRE Advisors Eva Kloostra (Edge) and Dennis Gallegher (Marshall Space Flight Center) are both going to watch the final shuttle launch! Eva will be viewing at the Visitors Center and Dennis' group will be up close and have a phenomenal view from the NASA Causeway! Hopefully they will post some pictures on Friday!!! Have a blast Eva and Dennis!!

2010 Space Academy for Students 09/21/2010

INSPIRE with its partners sponsored students to experience Space Academy, an action packed 6-day program for students from around the world to come and participate in intensive classroom, laboratory and training time, focusing on space science and space exploration. The Space Academy experience encourages teamwork, problem solving, communication skills and self-confidence. Students take part in astronaut-style training and simulations, as well as STEM activities to ensure our next generations of space science and technology explorers! Enjoy the photos!

INSPIRE has teamed up with NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL to offer DC middle school students the opportunity to attend Space Academy. All travel expenses are included. The INSPIRE Project Paid NASA Goddard Internship Program applicationis are due July 4! We are sponsoring part-time, paid internships at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Two part-time paid internships are available. Interns will work approximately 15-20 hours per week, and will be paid $5,000 after successful completion of the internship. Additionally, interns will receive a $400.00 travel stipend to aid in their commute to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Please submit your application today!

Radio JOVE, a sister project to INSPIRE, offers people with a desire to listen to the cosmos to listen to the emitted RF coming from extra-terrestrial sources a kit to do so. The INSPIRE Project offers a kit to listen to VLF radiation coming from terrestrial sources.
