As the Board Chair of The Chill Station, Lifting Labels is a project of The Chill Station Inc, a 501(c) 3 charitable organization. I'm excited to share the incredible work we're doing here in Baltimore. The Chill Station is a community-based, nonprofit, social entrepreneurial reentry organization established to reduce poverty, create sustainable employment and entrepreneurship, and improve the quality of life of underemployed and low-income families, particularly formerly incarcerated men and women. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty with careers for Baltimore’s Returning Citizens. By providing meaningful employment to returning citizens, we are breaking the negative labels society places on them and crafting inspiring new narratives.

We recognize the importance of prioritizing our well-being, advocating for wellness practitioners who share our backgrounds, experiences, and possess a deep understanding of our collective health and prosperity.
