It is an EXCITING time to consider joining us this summer at Sewanee Summer Music Festival @ Sewanee Music Center!

Here's what to expect:
Join us for 4 weeks of private lessons with fantastic faculty,
two full symphonic orchestras, performance opportunities, composition forums, chamber music, and opera arias @ OperaFest Sewanee—all in the beautiful, safe haven of a mountaintop in Tennesee. (the pic attached is REAL, folks!)

And ~ HERE's what is very SPECIAL about SSMF in 2025:

SCHOLARSHIP MATCH
(Applications submitted early will receive priority consideration for scholarship matches. Awards will be granted until they are fully allocated)

ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAM
(This immersion program is logical for students wishing to work on their English skills)

Jacqueline Avant CONCERTO COMPETITION
(Awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes to perform with Orchestra)

CONCERTO SHOWCASE
(Students who were not winners in the finalist round of the Jacqueline Avant Concerto competition will be eligible to perform in a Concerto Showcase)

VOCAL CONCERTO COMPETITION
(OperaFest singers will compete and the winners will perform with our faculty)

CHAMBER MUSIC INTENSIVE
(Early applicants will have the opportunity to work on a piece from your wish list, and have special chamber study opportunities in the magnificent Ralston Listening Library)

AND ~ ALL OF THIS IS OFFERED WITH A CLEAR FOCUS on supporting the WELLNESS of our musicians.
