NSSTA members now have a dedicated path to executive education at The University of Texas at Austin.

NSSTA has partnered with McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin to give members exclusive access to a dedicated learning resource, which includes:

● An exclusive NSSTA member discount on executive education classes
● Guidance on how to register for a class and apply the discount code
● An interactive Competency Mapping Tool to help with class selection
● A dedicated FAQ section
● A direct link to the full list of available executive classes

The partnership extends a relationship already familiar to many members. NSSTA's CSSC program was developed in conjunction with the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

NSSTA’s newly elected Board of Directors came together in Chicago last week for its first in-person meeting.

It was a productive and successful gathering, meaningful conversations, strong collaboration, and a shared commitment to the work ahead of us.

As 𝐏𝐓𝐒𝐃 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 comes to a close, we recognize the importance of continued awareness, education, and advocacy.

NSSTA believes it's time for the Tax Code to reflect what medical science has confirmed. That's why we're calling on consumer organizations, disability advocates, mental health advocates, and policymakers to work together in support of meaningful change.

Maryland didn't just reform its oversight of settlement factoring, it demonstrated what effective reform actually looks like.
In a single year, factoring transactions in the state fell from approximately 1,800 to six after a defined set of judicial and procedural guardrails took effect.

NSSTA's latest blog post breaks down the Maryland model, what made it work, and what other states can do to replicate those results.

Did you know that one state reduced predatory factoring transactions from roughly 1,800 to just six in a single year?

NSSTA Executive Director Eric Vaughn and NCL CEO Sally Greenberg discuss what that looks like and what comes next.

How do we protect injured people from losing the settlements meant to support them for life?

Sally Greenberg, CEO of the National Consumers League, sat down with NSSTA to talk through what works, from stronger state protections to the role judges play, and the real difference it made in Maryland.

It is a clear, practical conversation worth sharing with anyone who cares about consumer protection.
