T-minus 3 1/2 hours to Pride Vino & Vinyasa at Friends of Lincoln Park DC! If you plan on coming tonight, please arrive early, and bring water and a towel as it's going to get hot and sweaty.
More than 75 people are registered and we'll need time to check everyone in and get wrist bands if you want to drink after!

I am a fully vaxxed 500-hour registered yoga teacher with more than 900 hours of training in Dharma yoga and vinyasa/power/Ashtanga based lineages.
I just wrapped up a third 200-hour training with Mimi Rieger (voted the best yoga teacher in DC).
Operating as usual
Excited to announce I’ll be teaching a III class Saturday mornings at 8 am when it opens later this month at 10th & Florida NE.
The class is a harder Hatha yoga class where we hold the poses longer and practice some of the more difficult arm balances and binds. Forearm balance and headstand will be taught in every class. In addition to traditional Power Vinyasa that we all love, Bright Bear also wants to give students a place to grow their practice.

Lizard pose. Can be an intense opener for the hip flexors, quads and hamstrings. A less deep version is ideal for runners and other athletes.
Teaching a Deep vinyasa flow this Sunday at DuPont Circle Yoga at 11 a.m.
Excited to announce that I’ve started teaching at DuPont Circle Yoga and am in discussions with them about adding a Dharma III class to the schedule after the New Year, hopefully a donation based class. Details to come. Here’s my upcoming teaching schedule in the meantime.
Dharma yoga tonight at 6:30 p.m. is a GO! The weather is perfect for it and should be nice under the shade tree.
If I can figure out my tripod selfie stick camera holder, I will record the class to submit to Dharma in NYC.
UPDATE: With the rain coming down in biblical fashion and power outages throughout the city, we are canceling class for tonight! Stay tuned for next Monday!
We've extended the Monday night class by two weeks to makeup for rain and July 4, BUT there is an 80% chance of rain today. So I'll call the class on whether to cancel by 5 p.m.
If it's a downpour or raining for a while by then, the grass will be too wet to practice in and the bugs will be a mess, even if it stops before then.
Weather looks perfect for Friday night's Vinyasa and Vino. I'll have a couple bottles of chilled rose, some extra mats, bug spray, and, of course, an awesome play list.
Also, due to popular demand, (and because I had to cancel two Monday classes due to the weather and the 4th) I'm extending the Monday night Dharma classes by two weeks through Aug. 1. See you there!
Yoga and wine is ON tonight! July 1, canceled on Monday July 4th. We'll be back on Mondays on July 11th.
We're meeting in the NY corner of Lincoln Park. See you there!
The weather is perfect for class tonight, 81 and sunny. We’ll meet in the NW corner of Lincoln Park, close to 11th Street, under the big shade trees. Be sure to bring water to stay hydrated and see you just before 6:30 pm!

The weather tonight is perfect for a natural hot yoga class. We'll gather in the Northwest corner of Lincoln Park, close to 11th St., NE, for a 75-minute Dharma yoga class.
The pace of this class is slower than a traditional hot vinyasa class, but we take more time to breakdown the poses.
Lincoln Park six-week summer series is back with 2 donation-based evening classes on Mondays at 7 pm and Fridays at 6 pm.
These classes are FREE to the community, but since so many people asked last time, I can take donations on Venmo.
About me: I am a fully vaxxed 500-hour registered yoga teacher with more than 900 hours of training in Dharma yoga and vinyasa/power/Ashtanga based lineages. I just wrapped up a third 200-hour training with Mimi Rieger (voted the best yoga teacher in DC by Washingtonian magazine). I am insure and will complete my CPR training later this month.
About the yoga: Monday’s classes will be a Dharma yoga advanced beginner/intermediate class needed to finish up my certification through Dharma Mittra’s studio in NYC. This will be a challenging, yet meditative 75-minute class that will work on both strength and flexibility with a guided meditation at the end and pranayama instruction at the start.
Friday’s classes will be a high energy power flow inspired by Mimi Rieger that may occasionally end with wine to kick off your weekends.
Classes will be weather permitting, beginning Monday June 13 and ending Friday July 25.
I will post updates here!
