Meet Jenna! 👋

She’s one of our volunteers and serves as a Research Assistant for Educational Strategy here at Immersed Global! ✨ With over 10 years of experience as an educator in mathematics, visual arts, and college prep, Jenna brings a strong background in teaching, research, curriculum innovation, and program development. Her academic background in international studies, political science, French language, Russian history, and democracy and governance also deeply connects with our global education mission.

At Immersed Global, Jenna supports educational research, strategic learning initiatives, and curriculum development that help strengthen the programs we create for young learners. She is passionate about service, international exchange, and the role education plays in building stronger, more connected communities.

Outside of Immersed Global, Jenna works as a college writing tutor and academic advisor and also runs her own visual art studio, The Painted Cord Studio. We’re excited to have her creativity, experience, and heart for education on our team! 💙

Meet Carl! 👋

He’s one of our volunteers and serves as a Research Assistant for AI Integration & EdTech here at Immersed Global! ✨ Carl is a Cognitive Science student specializing in Design & Interaction at the University of California, San Diego, and brings a strong background in building full-stack AI applications, including retrieval-augmented chatbots and multi-agent systems.

At Immersed Global, Carl supports research and projects focused on exploring how AI can make learning more engaging, scalable, and accessible for the students and communities we serve. With his passion for human-centered design, technology, culture, and education, he brings a thoughtful perspective to how digital tools can support meaningful learning experiences.

As an international student who speaks Chinese and English fluently, along with a little Japanese, Carl is excited to contribute to work that connects people, cultures, and learning through innovation. We’re excited to have him as part of our team! 💙

Meet Sangee! 👋

She’s one of our volunteers and serves as a Research Assistant for AI Integration & EdTech here at Immersed Global! ✨ With over four years of experience as a Software Engineer, a Master’s degree in Data Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Sangee brings a strong technical background and a passion for using technology to support meaningful learning experiences.

At Immersed Global, Sangee supports research and projects focused on integrating AI into educational spaces and contributing to data-driven insights for impactful learning initiatives. As a visual learner, she understands the importance of creating tools that are clear, engaging, and accessible for students and educators.

She is passionate about combining education and technology, building safer AI systems, and using her skills to help others. We’re excited to have her as part of our team! 💙

This week, we're spotlighting our R.I.S.E. Arts Center collab - is doing powerful work right alongside us () in
At R.I.S.E. Arts Center Summer Spanish workshop Makeva led a Spanish lesson alongside Alejandra, our lead Spanish instructor for Camp Immersed, using TPR (Total Physical Response) to teach the kids action words and introductions. You'll see the kids playing games like fly swatter and Simon Dice all in Spanish.

She’s one of our volunteers and serves as our Instagram/Facebook Content Creator here at Immersed Global! ✨ Helen brings over a decade of experience in communications, engagement strategy, higher education, and nonprofit work. With a strong background in building systems, creating meaningful connections, and amplifying mission-driven stories, she helps support our digital presence and share the heart of our work with the community.

At Immersed Global and Madame Armant’s Immersion Cities, Helen is passionate about using storytelling to uplift voices, inspire engagement, and highlight the impact of language learning, cultural experiences, and global education. Her commitment to community, equity, and meaningful communication makes her a wonderful addition to our marketing team. 💙

Meet Natalie! 👋

She’s one of our volunteers and serves as our Marketing & Campaign Lead here at Immersed Global! ✨ With a background in languages, marketing, and digital strategy, Natalie helps guide campaigns that keep our community informed, engaged, and connected to the heart of our mission. Her creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for meaningful storytelling help bring our programs and impact to life.

Natalie first connected with Immersed Global through a printing project for our May 2026 5K fundraiser. Today, she supports our work by helping shape marketing initiatives that inspire action and expand access to language learning, cultural experiences, and global opportunities for youth.

Her love for languages, learning, travel, and community makes her an incredible part of the Immersed Global team. 💙
