The 2023 Development Challenges in Tanzania program has come its conclusion. The Program ended with a trip to Mikumi National Park, where students explored Tanzania's amazing wildlife. If you are interested in learning more about this program, join us for our Open House on September 14th, 2023 at 4pm in the Arrupe multipurpose room!

Georgetown students participating in the African Studies Development Challenges in Tanzania summer program enjoyed a trip to Zanzibar this past weekend!

The African Studies Development Challenges in Tanzania summer program is underway! 15 Georgetown students from different majors will spend 5 weeks learning Swahili and completing an internship!

During day 3 and 4 of the African Studies Kenya alternative spring break, the site visits included: Brown Cheese Farm, Equity Bank Headquarters, Asante Africa Foundation (youth the educational resources and support), and the Kenyan National Commission on Human Rights.
