We had a busy August! Traveled coast to coast-LA to NY, back to LA, then Wisconsin and lastly Boston. Two colleges began the process of their entire athletic departments going through A Long Talk- Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens and . Our work also toook us to Wisconsion, Boston & NY to work with several independent schools. Meeting with the following teams brought hundreds of student athletes & coaches to the A Long Talk nation!

History Lesson: Oswego has a is home to abolitionists that worked individually and collectively to create a safe place for escaped enslaved people to rest. As a stop the underground railroad, the home of Daniel and Miriam Pease serves as a 200-year reminder that resistance to white supremacy is as old as America itself.

Sunday Series Part 6: We led a Civil Rights Pilgrimage with 50 pastors from the New England United Methodist Church Conference (New England Conference UMC ) along with their Bishop Thomas Bickerton. Bishop Bickerton reminds us that empathy is key community, and ultimately to the anti-racist work and creating change.

Located in the heart of Oak Bluffs, the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association (MVCMA) MV Camp Meeting Assoc is a religious, non-profit which furthers its mission in an area commonly known as The Campground- home of the colorful, renowned Gingerbread Cottages & the iconic iron Tabernacle. It’s a National Historic Landmark, that has enriched the lives of generations of Islanders, Campgrounders, and visitors.
