One mom told me yesterday how hard it is to actually prioritize herself enough to even workout or take care of her health.
That type of talk definitely crushes me. Because if your body breaks down and you have to take time off work because your health has deteriorated or been compromised, then youâre FORCED to prioritize your health and get better.
So why not be proactive? Letâs do this! You got itđđŸ
Hey FIT MotherLovers! This month we are taking a deep dive into how you can increase your energy.
I saw a stat the other day about how the MAJORITY of people say they feel tired at least 3 days a week âŠ
⊠and that three-quarters of people say that ânot having enough energyâ gets in the way of their productivity. Add in a kid, or two, or more⊠and your energy levels are just shot!
And you can bet if their productivity suffers, so does their overall quality of life. Now, on to YOU.
As a busy parent, I mean, itâs not just about having energy for your job, but also for your family, especially your kids. Itâs also about enjoying your time off!
I have a LOT of info coming your way on this topic, but today I am going to focus on the VERY FIRST THING you have to do in order to turn your energy situation around.
As a reminder, my name is Everett Shipmon, and I help busy mommies flatten their stomachs, tighten their loose tummy muscles, and improve their new mom bodies after birth.
Now, hereâs the crazy thing about NOT having enough energy.
It can feel like TOO MUCH WORK to actually DO something about it.
Sound relatable?
On days when youâre tired (literally EVERYDAY as a parent), the last thing you want to do is get up off the couch and take action.
Especially for yourself.
But the fact is⊠you have to decide to TAKE CONTROL and do SOMETHING to turn your energy levels around.
You have to take action.
It doesnât have to be a huge action ⊠just something that can give you a spark of energy to help you jumpstart your battery.
And itâs also possible to actually ENJOY the process.
In fact, if itâs something you like doing, it probably will work even better.
So ⊠hereâs one of my FAVORITE ways I recommend you get a quick hit of energy during the day. Itâs to GO OUTSIDE for a few minutes. And heck, bring the kid.
It works every time.
First, getting some fresh air is a proven energy booster. Not only does getting into nature help you physically, but it also can give you a little mental reset â the change of scenery can give you a new perspective.
Youâre almost guaranteed to feel refreshed.
I told you it was simple đ
We can all get up when weâre tired and get some fresh air, right?
But the thing is, you actually have to get up and DO it. So it does start with a DECISION.
You owe it to yourself to live your most energetic life⊠and that starts with CHOOSING to make that happen! Your kids will always love you, yes. But does that mean you want to be dragged around, hopelessly exhausted at every turn? Noooo!

Itâs essential to carrying a baby to term as your center of gravity shifts. Itâs also super important afterwards as you start to care for your child and have to run around after them.
So do your part.
Stretch, stretch, stretch! đ§đŸââïž
That sometimes you gotta be flexible with your perspective.
There are times when conviction is great. We need that.
But there are other times, when we need more flexibility in your train of thought to get your goals accomplished.
Letâs be flexible in thought this week and practice it to reach success.
Who are you gonna be this week ladies?
Because whoever that is, is all up to you.
Your reflection in the mirror is a result of what you think and decide about yourself.
Itâs not an enemy, a friend, or a conspiracy.
It is YOU.
YOU are your biggest competitor.
If you can crush the negative voices and thoughts in your head, you will be UNSTOPPABLE.
Now, would you look at that. She is FIRE đ„
So many moms get sucked into the extreme.
Either they eat everything and anything they want.
Or they deprive themselves so much, they hate fitness and everything to it.
But what about the middle line?
What about eating with a strategy in mind?
There IS a way to eat yourself into a body you actually want.
Donât believe me?
Well, I can guarantee it.
I guarantee I can get you the body you want in 16 weeks or less.

Mondays are a great day to reset.
Letâs start by planning your workouts this week.
Save this image and use out each day this week and letâs get some results.
The key is just to move your body. Function over all.
And especially if youâre expecting soon or already pregnant.
Now, this exercise challenge isnât for pregnant mothers but those whoâve already been cleared by their doctor to exercise again.

Ladies, did you know�
There IS a way to tighten your loose tummy muscles after children.
Most programs wonât show you the core training techniques Iâve developed over the years to do just that.
In short, itâs possible.
Most mothers and moms-to-be make the mistake of thinking itâs impossible. They feel like their body is broken after birth.
If this is you, you are discouraged from trying anymore because your body doesnât feel the same anymore. It doesnât feel like âyou.â
So you feel broken.
But thereâs a way to do it. Let me show you how.
1. Train your abs from all 4 perspectives. Itâs really five. But four is what we focus on. Itâs super effective. I teach this in my Four Core Tonic Method.
2. Train your abs every day. This doesnât mean a full blown workout every day. It could mean engaging your abs for 1 min while standing on one leg cooking or reading. But Training your abs everyday gets you results waaay faster.
3. Focus on quality. I know you wanna do 100 crunches or a 3-minute plank. But donât. Not if your form isnât nailed down. Proper form will accelerate your results more than a higher number of lower quality reps.

If you know me well, you know I LOVE to watch airplanes. For some reason, they fascinate me greatly. Always have.
I got to watch a lot of planes âïž over my birthday weekend.
Interesting how to get a plane to lift.
To get a plane to lift, it must charge full speed into the very element that is against it and use it to fly.
My question to YOU isâŠhow can you use what seems to be against you and harness the energy for positive in your life?
Do you hate burpees?
Do you love to run?
Do what works for you.
You can get results with any exercise.
Itâs all about your approach and more about everything else youâre doing.
So get something simple.
Stick with it.
Thinking you canât really workout because youâre pregnant or trying to be?
Youâre wrong.
The best thing you can do for your body is optimize your movement and bodily systems.

If youâre waiting for motivation to get started, youâll most likely never start.
Itâs why I use other means and methods to hijack my motivation. When you add a few other means to push you to workout, youâre more likely to do it, even if you donât feel like it.
I highly recommend adding a few đȘđŸ

But thereâs a start point for everybody. Even YOU.
Donât worry about where you start. Just be sure to keep moving once you do start.
Women lift weights too!
And no, it doesnât make you bulky. Food does. Eating a bunch combined with heavy heavy lifts can make you add size.
But ultimately, you would need a TON of food and a TON of testosterone to start getting bulky. Bulk doesnât come from just lifting alone.
