It has been such an honor and truly a wonderful experience to serve as the 2015-2016 SNMA National Osteopathic Schools Co-Chairs. Danielle Ward and Kristyn Smith send a big thank you to our committee members for all their hard work this year. Also, thank you to the SNMA for awarding us with the "Committee of the Year" title. It took a ton of hard work and teamwork to make this a very successful year, and we couldn't have done it without everyone's support!

THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FRIDAY MARCH 18, 2016 AT 9PM EST!!!!!

The SNMA Barbara Ross-Lee, DO Osteopathic Service Award recognizes an SNMA Osteopathic Medical School chapter and individual member attending an osteopathic medical school who are committed to osteopathic principals and its practice. To receive the award, the applicant and/or chapter should be a pioneer in addressing the educational, societal, and health needs of minorities, while applying osteopathic principles and promoting osteopathic medicine to the community. The goal of this award is to acknowledge a SNMA member and chapter that appreciates the use of osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) as an adjunct to traditional medical therapies, promotes osteopathic medicine to pre-medical students and the general public, and incorporates osteopathic principles into its chapter activities. Awards will be distributed at our Osteopathic Schools Reception at the 2016 AMEC Conference in Austin, Texas. We look forward to seeing all of you there! For more information and/or the application email: [email protected].
