The Dinner Table Documentary in collaboration with the Washington DC Public Schools System Presents the WeTheGirls virtual Book Club Program. The book club will help girls ages 10-18 further develop their goal settings and leadership skills but also explore their voice and personal autonomy through innovative activities focused on Self Esteem, Public Speaking and Character Building.

DC Public Schools It's and teachers who creative LGBTQIA+ inclusive classrooms are LITERALLY saving lives. Su***de is the 2nd leading cause of death among young people ages 10 to 24 and LGBTQIA+ youth are significantly more likely to attempt su***de than their peers. Any accepting adult can reduce the risk of su***de attempts for LGBTQIA+ youth. (The Trevor Project, 2019).
Quick Tip: Mental health language matters – practice saying “died by su***de” instead of “committed.”
