We are so excited to announce this elective addition to our Fall schedule!!

This art course focuses on building a strong foundation in the fundamentals of art through hands-on projects, guided practice, and creative exploration. Students will develop essential skills such as drawing, shading, perspective, composition, color theory, texture, and observational techniques while gaining confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how artistic principles work across all styles and mediums.

📚 Standardized Testing Opportunity for HOME SCHOOL students Grades 3–8

🗓 Date: Thursday, May 14
📍 Location: Calvary Baptist Church, 800 Arkadelphia Road
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM
📍 Testing will take about 4-5 hours total (not including breaks).

Families can choose between two options:
• Core Composite
• Core Composite + Cognitive Abilities Test

Standardized testing can be a helpful tool for homeschool families. It provides objective feedback on student progress, helps identify strengths and areas for growth, and can serve as valuable documentation of academic achievement.

How to register:
1️⃣ Create an account with BJU Press Testing
2️⃣ Select Jennifer Boully as the test administrator and May 14th as your testing date
3️⃣ Order your preferred test option

All score reports will be sent directly to families.

We’re glad to offer this opportunity for our homeschool community and hope many will participate!
