Maybe it’s the adrenaline of game day.
Maybe it’s the roar of your classmates cheering from the sidelines.
Maybe it’s the friendships made during practices, the inside jokes, the team huddles, or the feeling of representing something bigger than yourself.
Or maybe it’s knowing that the girls beside you, and the Saddlelites who played before you, are part of the same tradition.

At Regina, Powderpuff is woven into the fabric of the school experience. It’s spirited, competitive, and filled with the kind of moments you’ll still talk about years later.

Because someday, you won’t remember every play. You’ll remember who was beside you.

And that’s what makes Powderpuff a Regina tradition worth carrying forward.

🐾 A special morning at FOX 2 Detroit!

Regina High School President Anna Bulszewicz, '03, and Fr. Tom Nguyen, OFM, Capuchin at Blessed Solanus Casey — along with a very special guest, Rosie — joined FOX 2 this morning to talk about Regina’s upcoming Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis.

The tradition holds special meaning for Regina and our Franciscan roots, reminding us of St. Francis’ love and care for all of God’s creation.

Some traditions become part of the heart of a school. 💙

On Sunday, we celebrated our cherished Freshman Mother–Daughter Mass and Breakfast, an annual Regina tradition that beautifully brings together faith, family, and sisterhood.

Freshmen gathered with their mothers or a special female figure in their lives for Mass in our chapel, followed by a joyful breakfast hosted by our Mothers Guild.

For generations, Regina has been a place where faith is nurtured, friendships are formed, and traditions are passed down. Moments like these remind us that the Regina experience is about more than a student’s four years; it’s about the women who inspire us, the faith that guides us, and the traditions that connect us across generations.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in prayer, fellowship, and celebration, and especially to our Mothers Guild for helping make this meaningful Regina tradition possible.

Here’s to the traditions that become memories, and the memories that become part of the Regina legacy.
