Our Student Lighthouse Team (a group of 10 fabulous leaders in fourth and fifth grade) had the pleasure of leading our October Leader in Me Assembly this morning!
We introduced our Habit of the Month: Begin with the End in Mind, celebrated grade levels meeting behavior and attendance goals (congrats 3rd and 1st grade for having the highest positive points percentage for the month of September and winning an extra recess!), and announced our October Leaders of the Month.
Our 4th and 5th grade leaders & teachers even got to play a round of musical chairs, culminating in a student vs teacher show down. Congratulations to Mrs. Moore for being our champion of the day!
In addition, our Student Lighthouse Team made the executive decision to begin awarding a “Staff of the Month” based on our 7 Habits, voted on by our student body. This month, students had the chance to vote on the staff members they felt Begin with the End in Mind. Congratulations to Mrs. Bamberger and our incredible cafeteria staff, our October Staff of the Month. We are so thankful for you!
