April 2 - World Autism Day.

I struggle again this year on what to post, if anything. The autism community like many marginalized groups, struggle to agree on a common goal. Acceptance,? Awareness,? Celebrate,? Fear,? Admire,?

As someone who knows, loves and supports many autistic people my hope is that anyone who reads my post today takes a moment to do all of the above. If you want to take a few minutes to watch this years FCSN keynote speaker you will gain knowledge about autism and that seems like a good use of world autism day.

Dan Bergman is a minimally speaking autistic graduate of Harvard Extension college. He starts at about the 8 minute mark in this video.

To be able to communicate humor to 800 people over zoom with minimal verbal communication!?!?! This is the kind of video that keeps me pushing all those heavy rocks up the hill for all those that I know, love, and support.
