Join us for SukkotFest on the Gann Farm, a community-wide celebration open to all ages on Sunday, October 20, from 1-4pm.

Celebrate the ingathering festival of Sukkot on Gann’s campus with live music, food, and fun on the farm!
Admission to the event is free, with food available for purchase.
Activities include fun for everyone:
· Listen to live local Jewish musicians
· Taste local Kosher food and bake pita in an earthen oven
· Learn from local rabbis and chefs in a Sukkah of Learning – hosted by
· Shop the crafts of local Jewish artists - curated by
· Press apple cider and ferment sauerkraut
· Visit the chickens and enjoy festival attractions
· Craft beeswax Havdalah candles and dye natural turmeric challah covers

It’s the last day of our flower share! Thank you so much to our shareholders for going on this journey with us in our pilot flower share season! We’ve learned so much as our summer interns and then fall academic-year course (Food, Farming, Jewish Wisdom: Practicum) students harvested and arranged the bouquets! Watch in late spring for our 2025 flower share sign up!

It’s been such an amazing week on Shomrei Adamah. This summer we have an amazing group of 8 interns on the farm for two weeks immersing in Jewish farm to table living.
Highlights of the week include:
- making 4 kinds of pesto from different basils
- flower workshop with flower farmer Rebecca R, owner of
- Tasting some Quishuim, ancient cucumber-melons we are growing the Jewish seed project run by and
- Kitchen skills time including a Knife skills workshop, salad making, and summer squash sauté
- Bracha (blessing) scavenger hunt!
- Flower pounded cards
- So much more including harvesting weeding, seeding, mulching, and planting. Singing, pickling, and playing silly group games!!
We can’t wait for another week of abundance, connection and growth next week! Shabbat shalom!
